Residents in control: Community grants in Big Local areas

This report explores the role that community grants (also know as small grants) played in the Big Local programme. 

It looks at how Big Local areas distributed community grants in their communities, the conditions for successful community grant making and the benefits they brought, such as increasing community engagement and building the capacity of residents and the local voluntary and community sector.
